Value is at the very core of business
Simply put, businesses exist to deliver value to customers in return for money. So having a company wide understanding of your business’ value is fundamental for you to operate. Without an understanding of the value you can’t build your structures and practices within your organisation that will best deliver to customers and drive sales.
Delivering on promised value determines sales
Clients buy from a business based on the value that is being sold to them by the sales team. If your salespeople are selling value that isn’t aligned with the actual value delivered then customers will lose trust in the business and ultimately there will be a decline in sales.
Understanding your value can help you win in the marketplace
It’s key to understand how your business can deliver value to its customers, from a customer’s perspective and along every step of the customer journey. By recognising where and how you deliver value along different stages, you can start to look at how your business can deliver more value for less.
